trimming off what stands out.
It will not do to get caught
on the barbs of conscience when
you need to choose when
you've got orders when
you're pressed when
you're afraid and
you know you wont get away,
by choosing not to choose.
A moments hesitation,

choose
for
you.
And when the choice is made,
when one is torn
and another one ripped to shreds
